In cementing slurries, HEC delivers outstanding fluid-loss control, anti-settling performance and free-water reduction, maintaining stable suspension for cement solids and lightweight fillers.

GUUDPOLY^® Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer (PCE) serves as a dispersant/friction reducer for cement slurry. Through electrostatic repulsion and steric hindrance effects, it deflocculates cement particles, reduces plastic viscosity and pumping pressure, enables turbulent displacement, and allows a lower water-cement ratio to boost the compressive strength of set cement. PCE must be compounded with HEC to achieve sufficient suspension and fluid-loss control performance.
