The main ingredient of hydrophobic agent is modified organic silane or ester. The hydrophobic mechanism of modified organic silane is to prevent liquid water penetrating into solidified cement or gypsum base material through surface or capillarity, thereby greatly reducing the water absorption rate.

GUUDPOLY WR650 is a nano dispersed phylosilicate, which was produced with special according to the requirements of the construction and concretes industry. It shows excellent dispersibility in cement based system. The water resistance can be increased and remained longer protection of staining.

Dosage and Handling

GUUDPOLY WR650 is added to other powdery components and mix to get a homogenous formulation.

The dosage may vary from 0.1%-0.5% of the total dry material by weight. The actual required dosage should be evaluated in suitable tests prior to final application.
