Exterior Thermal Insulation System (ETIS) means put thermal insulation layer outside of buildings, which not only help to stable indoors thermal stability, but also avoid any corrosion of exterior building walls from various extreme weather to prolong buildings service lifespan.

According to different materials, ETIS is mainly divided to EPS board, XPS board, EPS particles and rockwool board etc. EPS board is the best choice due to high thermal insulation ratio, easy to operate and economic cost.

GOODCEL Cellulose Ether improve water retention, thickening and improve workability. GOODCEL Modified Starch effectively avoids anti-sag of wet mortar, improve the rheology and workability.

Base Coat Mortar (Reinforced Mortar) is used for surface of EPS board in ETIS for surface leveling and reinforcement.

Base coat mortar requires good workability, high flexibility and adhesion strength. Mortar layer should firmly bond to substrate with long-term durability of no crack or fall off. Base coat mortar should also have a good waterproof to meet humid environment.
